CONTINUING EDUCATION

 

Continuing Education in Venipuncture and Collection of Blood Samples and Specimens.

This Continuing Education, offered to allied health industry professionals, and medical technicians. It is aimed to refresh, update, and enhance practical skills in Venipuncture and the drawing of blood for use in blood tests and specimen collection, besides fraud and abuse awareness and the protection of the elderly. This intense continuing education doesn't lead to gainful employment or jobs of any kind.

NURSING DIVISION

Associate of Science in Nursing

The program prepares students to become Registered Nurses that will coordinate, plan, and provide nursing care in hospitals, schools, armed forces, community settings, home health agencies, nursing homes, assisted living facilities and geriatric settings.


Bridge to Nursing, AS

The Bridge to Nursing, AS is a shorter academic option offered to U.S. Licensed Practical Nurses and Foreign, U.S. homologated, Medical Doctors and Nurses,  which professionally seek to become a Florida Registered Nurse after passing the NCLEX-RN.

 

 

RADIOLOGY DIVISION

Radiologic Technology Associate in Science

The Radiologic Technology (RT) Associate of Science program gives the student a full education in the radiologic and imaging sciences and patient care, ensures scientific breadth in the academic radiologic experience, while at the same time affording flexibility in satisfying American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) requirements, and the Florida Department of Health (DOH) regulations.

 

ALLIED HEALTH SCIENCE DIVISION

X-Ray Machine Operator

The XRO program classes have expanded into some Radiography General Radiological technology themes but without teaching any medical invasive procedures in compliance with Florida Department of Health (DOH). Students will be prepared to take and pass the Florida Limited Scope of Practice in Radiography exam administered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). School graduates will be a fundamental part of integral medical teams and may work in medical clinics, hospitals, chiropractic, orthopedic centers, x ray mobile systems, and independent diagnostic test facilities.


Medical Assistant

Medical Assistant program responds to today's critical need of professional medical personnel for supporting primary health doctors, assisting them in their daily routines and taking part in a variety of duties and procedures depending on doctor’s need or specialization.
